504 Squadron Dine in Night at the Belgrave Rooms

Last night marked the annual celebration of 504 over the last twelve months, at the brilliant Belgrave Rooms in Nottingham. A delicious three course meal was enjoyed by all before an awards ceremony, a raffle and then dancing the night away.

Bringing together staff, Civilian Instructors, Cadets, their parents & families along with other members of the RAF our annual 504 Celebration was a success and we thank those involved for organising, attending & helping us celebrate. A big thank you to the Belgrave Rooms too for accommodating us. It was a fantastic night enjoyed by all.

At 504, we were lucky to hear from one of our senior cadets, Flt Sergeant Stevenson who went through her first public speech which was well received.

She went though the last year being eventful for 504, and also acknowledged how far the squadron had come over the last twelve months! This was in part thanks to all the help from the staff, the Civ. Committee & everyone who helps support the squadron on a daily basis.

One of the things acknowledged by all was the amount of work everyone puts in, to ensure every single cadet who goes through the Squadron get an opportunity to shine, be heard, and succeed in life learning key skills along the way.

The squadron took the opportunity to thank FG Off. Stair, for all his commitment to 504 over the years and we wish him well in his new post as Officer in Charge of 138 Squadron.

Other highlights included the charity work whether that’s leaflet drops or bag packing which has helped raise considerable funds. It was also nice to learn 504 are now out the bottom half of the wing field day results table!

Well done 504
